  • Sports Management is a very specific area of business consulting that works with National Sporting Organisations, Professional Teams and Franchises and Sports Investors. It focuses on governance, strategy, culture and growth (revenue, participation, competitions). It is specialised due to the unique models in sport such as governance, stakeholder, appointments, funding, athlete associates, community and memberships.

  • No. More than half of our work is with privately owned companies and organisations that are wanting to learn and adopt the success factors from elite sport and other high-performance sectors and apply them to their business to improve performance.

  • At Sportify, we combine proven leadership in elite sports organisations with commercial and high-profile governance experience, offering practical, tailored strategies that work in both sport and corporate environments.

  • We can approach this in a few different ways. Sportify can be a Board advisor with specific focus areas and deliverables, we can support the Chief Executive/SLT and report to the Board on progress, we can conduct one-off governance reviews and recommendations or we can fulfil the role of Independent Director or Chair.

  • A fractional executive is a C-suite level appointment on a part time basis to allow a business to access a highly experienced and specialist resource on staff at a lower cost than a FTE. Fractional executives typically work 1-2 days per week on a permanent of fixed term and fulfil other fractional or consulting assignments. Sportify provides fractional executive services.

  • Definitely. We specialise in working with Founders and Boards to prepare business for a capital raise or divestment event. We have experience in business sales, M&A and private equity capital raising.

  • We have a range of Associates that specialise in different areas of sport and major events that we can refer or bring to your project in our team. We don’t make any money from referring, our job is to present trusted and experienced partners for you to negotiate and work directly with. If you want Sportify to manage an Associate(s) relationship that simply form part of our role scope.

  • Yes. We have a range of coaching modules which we customise to your organisation and goals after completing a short discovery process. These are usually 2-3 hours in delivery with a follow up in 30 days to check in for results and feedback.
